Need a side dish for some of your summer meals?? I found a great one! No matter which brand I buy, I never like the frozen french fries that you bake in the oven. (To be fair, I’m very picky about my fries.) BUT when I bake them like this, I LOVE them! So so delicious! Here’s the pin I found.
Ingredients:
– Bag of frozen french fries
– 1/4 Cup Olive Oil
– 1/2 Cup Parmasean Cheese
– 1/4 Cup Parmasean Cheese (to add at the end)
– 3 teaspoons Minced Garlic
– 1/2 teaspoon Ground Thyme
– 1/4 teaspoon Salt
– 1/4 Cup Parsley
(not pictured above because I forgot it (they were still great))
Instructions:
– Preheat the oven to 425 degrees.
– Place fries in a bowl, drizzle olive oil on top.
– Add garlic, thyme, and salt.
– Toss until evenly coated.
– Spread fries out on a foiled cookie sheet (I greased).
– Save the bowl with oil.
– Bake for 30 minutes, flipping at the half-way point.
– Return the fries to the oil bowl and add parmasean cheese and parsley.
– Toss to coat.
– Return to oven and bake another 10 minutes.
– Remove from oven and sprinkle 1/4 cup parmasean cheese and optionally, more salt (about 1/4 teaspoon).
– Serve and enjoy!
